OVERVIEW PAGE - On the starting page, all announcement categories (boards) with short descriptions are listed.

POSTING CLASSIFIED ADVERTS - A user must be registered und logged in to become the possibility of posting adverts. When logged in, for posting please klick on a board of your interest. Afterwords, in the board view, you can contact other posters (per email), or post your own classified adverts.

BOARD (CATEGORY) - Categories are called Boards in this announcement board.

POST - A post is a single public message (in this board classified advert) by a user. It can be edited and deleted by user and by board administrator. Classifieds have expiration values that determine after how many days it expires.

USER - A visitor can register an account or not. Registration is not required for reading, but only registered user can post classifieds to this board.

BOARD ADMINSTRATOR - The Board-Admin controls postings and user data in this announcing board.

ICONS

	Yellow icons indicate new posts respectively categories with new posts. 'New' means a post has been added since your last visit. Even if you have just read it, it is still a new post, and will only be counted as old on your next visit.
	Checkmarked icons indicate that the post respectively all posts in a category have been read. Posts are counted as read once their topic has been on screen. Since new/old and unread/read are independent concepts in this board, posts can be new and read as well as old and unread at the same time.
	Icons with dotted outlines indicate posts that are invisible to other users, because they are waiting for approval by an admin.
	The lock icon indicates the category has been locked for some reason and no new posts (except by admins) are allowed.

MARKUP TAGS - For security reasons, in this announcement-board no HTML tagswill be supported. http:// and ftp://-URLs are automatically displayed as links. Available markup tags:

Why doesn't logging in work?
You browser must have cookies enabled. Your user ID and password will bei stored via cookies on your computer, so that you only have to type them in once.

I lost my password, can you send it to me?
You can request your password on the login page. It will be sent to your registered email address.

Why this complicated registration via password email?
Several features can send you emails, e.g. reply notifications, password requests and board subscriptions. You will be required to specify a valid email address to send the required password to that address to verify its validity. This is necessary since otherwise some people would type in bogus or broken addresses and try to use the email features anyway, which would result in hundreds of bounced emails/error messages for the admin.

Do I have to use the logout feature?
You only need to logout if you are using a computer that is also used by other non-trusted persons. Your user ID and password will be stored via cookies on your computer, and these are removed on logout. You can also use the 'Limit login duration to browser session duration' feature in your options to automatically logout when your browser's session ends.

Why are my font face and size settings not used?
You browser must support CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and have them enabled, otherwise these and some other non-critical display preferences won't be visible. Note: in Netscape 4, Javascript must be active for CSS to work.
