Plan your garden now, enjoy in spring

With your English speaking landscaper

Gartencraft.at - the first English-Austrian Website of a garden- and landscape company in Vienna went online this week. Leading manager Rupert Kroesen wants to beckon that for his company communication is a very important value. "How do you want to design a garden of wellbeing for a human being or a family, when you don´t understand their language?", he asks.

20% of the populations in Vienna are non German speakers. English is the most popular foreign language in Austria. "In the service sector you have to follow the trend to internationality", Rupert Kroesen, leading manager of gartencraft*, is convinced about. To design a garden is a very sensitive and nearly intimate business, in which the human connection between customer and designer is most important. The language is a very important part of this connection. "How do you want to design a garden, when you are not able to understand the personal needs and wishes of the owner, how do you want to build up confidence to the designer, when you don´t feel understood?" Gartencraft* is empathic - in German and in English!

"Because of our special placement in the 14th district of Vienna we often get in touch with customers out of diplomatic circles, whom are most interested in creating green islands on rooftop terraces or green idylls in cottage gardens. Also biotopes and in some cases swimming ponds are required", Rupert Kroesen knows, "that water in a garden represents an exotic, but also calming and relaxing element".

Gartencraft is English - England is the motherland of gardens - the annual Chelsea Flower Show and a lot of show gardens in England witness today about the old and at the same time innovative culture and tradition of English garden-design. The English language is the connection to these areas. On one hand Gartencraft* wants to show its customers new ways of garden-design, on the other hand Gartencraft* doesn´t want to lose the connection to the old tradition of European garden-design.
